Frequently Asked
Is it safe?
Safety is our #1 priority. We operate a very controlled environment and each guest who enters must go through our safety briefing and training session before they are allowed to participate. If any participants in the throwing lanes are not following the rules or acting unsafe, we reserve the right to ask that guest to leave with no refund.
What if I've never thrown an axe before?
Axe throwing is a quick, easy learn for most people. It is more about technique than strength, our trained staff will do everything we can to make sure you are comfortable and have an enjoyable time! It is very popular for a date night (double dates are the best!) or just hanging with friends. 6-10 people is best group size for competing with friends after learning how to throw.
What should I wear?
You must wear closed-toed shoes for your safety. Comfortable clothing you can move easily in. Otherwise come as you are and plan to have Fun!
What about food or drinks?
We have snacks, sodas and water available. You are also welcome to bring in your own food or beverages to enjoy.
Can I take pictures or video?
Yes, we encourage you to take lots and share them with your friends, on Facebook, Instagram…
Is there an age limit?
Yes, 8. We love families, if you are coming to throw as a family with kids under 8, contact us. We can make exceptions for younger family members to participate provided we determine that they can throw an axe in a safe manner and their parent or guardian is present. Private parties, call.
What are the rules?
You will be instructed upon arrival with safety guidelines, throwing techniques, and the structure of play for your session. Here are the biggies for you flight planners:
-NEVER cross the throw line until all axes have come to rest either in the target or on the floor.
-Food and drinks are not allowed inside the throwing area.
